How do I get started with Trottingbet?
You must open a betting account with us, it’s free, and the procedure is explained below. When the account has been opened, you can log in and deposit money. Then, you can start betting.
How do I open a betting account?
You have to register with Trottingbet, by pressing the “Sign Up” button on the left hand side and completing the form:
| 1) | Fill in your name, address, phone number and date of birth. |
| 2) | Choose a username, type in your email address twice, choose a password, retype, and select language and currency. The currency you choose should be the same as in your bank account. |
| 3) | Read through the Terms and Conditions (press the link below the form) and tick the left hand side box, stating that you accept them. |
| 4) | You’re now registered as a Trottingbet user, and will receive an email with a verification link. Press the activation link in the email. You can now log in with your chosen username and password. |
| 5) | Keep this information updated. If you wish to alter your details, press “change user details” link in the menu on the left hand side. |
How do I deposit funds?
You deposit funds either using VISA or Mastercard or via bank transfer.
Deposits with credit card:
Select Visa, Visa Electron or Mastercard, insert your card number (16 digits), expiry date, your name, cvc2 code (the three last digits on the back of the card) and the required amount. The funds are available in your betting account within one minute.
Bank Transfer:
Specify the amount, your name, user name and Trottingbet account number. We’ll fill up your betting account as soon as possible after the funds have reached our account. To speed up the process, notify us by email that the transfer is in progress (isn’t mandatory).
Withdrawals:
We pay out to your VISA card. We process withdrawals once per week, usually on Sundays.
How do I place a bet?
Log in with your user name and password, and select a bet type and pool. Tick the boxes next to the horses you wish to bet on, and choose a price level (the minimum is usually £0,05 or £0,1. You’ll notice that the total price increases as you tick additional horses. When you press “submit”, the bet is placed.
I can’t log in, what’s wrong?
The user name and password are case-sensitive; make sure you get it right.
Cookies:
A cookie is small, harmless data file that Trottingbet sends out, that’s stored on your computer. Trottingbet uses cookies to remember what language version you prefer, and to help identify you. Please note that you have to allow cookies in order to use the website.

What is the purpose of Trottingbet?
The purpose is to contribute towards increased interest and awareness of Scandinavian trotting, by offering a competitive betting product. This will in turn attract new punters that previously haven’t considered trotting to be a viable betting product, due to unfavourable terms. Furthermore, it will maintain the interest amongst the existing enthusiasts.
Will the betting monopolies suffer?
On the contrary, Trottingbet participates in promoting the sport, and this will lead to increased revenues for the monopolies, too. If we’re allowed to contribute towards the development of the sport, utilizing our competencies, Trottingbet is also keen to support the sport financially.
Is Trottingbet interested in collaborating with the monopolies?
Absolutely! We perceive it as very favourable for the sport, if the monopolies are willing to collaborating with us.
Does Trottingbet support the sport financially?
The betting monopolies and racetracks have refused to accept financial support from its competitors thus far, so currently, we don’t. But we’re participating, reinforcing the interest in the sport, and thus contribute to the continued success of the monopolies.

Trottingbet is founded by an independent group of trotting enthusiasts and investors. We live for the sport, and that’ll be of benefit to the punters. :-)
